THE CONSTRUCTUS CORPORATION
The Constructus Corporation is another ingenious product
from the mind of Waddy Jones - a futuristic story told in
collaboration with some of SA's finest underground talents
in music, words and graphics.
Waddy Jones is an enigmatic lyrical terrorist who has bent
the form of hiphop into his own unique theatrical vision.
Always roleplaying, always mindbending, Waddy reached SA superstar
status with his band Max Normal, then promptly disbanded the
band because the stardom had become too creatively restrictive,
and embarked on the Constructus adventure.
The result, 9 months later, is the mindboggling multimedia
THE ZIGGURAT, an 88 page glossy hard cover book, with
story handwritten by Waddy, comic art illustrations by Nikhil
Singh, and of course the soundtrack cd.
On it, Waddy performs as a variety of characters, telling
the story of adventures aboard the futureworld THE ZIGGURAT
in rhymes and fables, over a heady mushup of hiphop and electronica
the group call BOOMBAM, created by max normal collaborator
LABAND, and introducing vocals from ANICA THE SNUFLING.
Meanwhile, waddy continues to perform with max normal and
a new band Fantastikill; is currently recording an electropop
album under the name Emmanuel Rothchild for Chameleon Records;
and writing the script for BLOOD NOSE PUSSYBOY, the dvd album
he wrote THE

Kalahari Surfers is a name that's been synonymous with cutting

wrath of the apartheid governmeent who banned 3 albums outright!
Only Warrick Sony remains of the original Surfers, and in

It's hard to find a music personality in SA with the wealth
of experience in the music industry (and anecdotes about it!)
as Warrick Sony.
With the arrival of African Dope on the scene in the early

hiphop, electronica and squelchy phat dub beats.
Sibot is SA 2002 'Battle of the DJs' scratch champion, and
